Assalamualaikum and hai everyone........We meet again.............yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Poster for Awesome Microbe Carnival.

                          Today, I am going to share to all of you about Awesome Microbes Carnival (AMC). This carnival was on 19 and 20 November 2015 which are on Thursday and Friday. This event involve all microbes student, lectures, staff and also junior from biotech course.

                          Before, the day for the event, we also have meeting which is on 16 and 17 November 2015 and rehearsal which is 18 November 2015. On 16 November 2015, we have our meeting on Dewan Kuliah Utama, In this meeting, we list all the thing that going to do during AMC and make confirmation from logistic about our equipment. We also discuss who will going to help junior to handle activities and their poster because they have lab working and test. On 17 November 2015, we have our last meeting at Bilik Mesyuarat Fakulti starting from 5 pm  and end on 7pm. In this meeting, we have to finalise all the thing that we are need,what the thing we are going to do and who will in charge for each activities and we fix the thing that we have already discuss.

                        On 18 November,our rehearsal starting from 3 pm and end on 5 pm and this is the first rehearsal. So,there many thing that we need to be done. For example,senior need to make sure all equipment for open boots is enough and junior need to make sure their posters and activities in good condition and already to be use for AMC and also they have to brief to senior that help them to handle their posters and activities.

                        Alhamdulillah... This event going smooth..even at first, we all really worried on this event because a lot of thing happen like money is not enough because we cannot get money from sponsor, cannot do rehearsal properly and do not have enough time to do preparations at 'panggung percubaan' because of................... and other things. When time come, Alhamdulillah....I feel greatful that we all can overcome together all the hardship and we come out with AWESOME...AWESOME...and AWESOME event. All people that come to this event enjoy it and they have a lot of experience that they get from our event that they can share to other.  The most important thing is that all of us enjoyed because this event is actually give opportunity to us to share with people outside information about what is microbes and how they actually involve in our daily life.

                        I feel really try and don't have enough sleep because we all get up early to prepare kimbab and also we need early come to panggung percubaan for set up our booth and we all rush to make sure we all exactly on time. Alhamdullilah...we made it and our booth ,run smoothly and we all happy.
                            Even this event success,still many thing need to be improve. For example, our team work,even at beginning we have good team work but at the end while doing clean up some of junior they come back early and the all the clean up work is done by senior. They dont really help to clean and put back all the equipment. It really disappointment. In future, maybe we have to improve this team work  and other thing . So, lets improve our skills and gain more experiences and find a lot of fun while doing this even and make our bonding become stronger....stronger and stronger...

Assalamualaikum and hello everyone,

This is the last story from me for this semester..............................I feel so sad because this is the last sharing from me.

This week as always we have class on monday. We have lectures on topic Nitrogen fixation and before class we have to do all activity on flipped classroom which has been prepared by my friends. We have to submit the nitrogen fixation quiz before class.

Other than that, all microbes second year student was really busy to make sure all preparations for Pobl complete in order to make sure this event going well. Everything that all my classmate feel has been mixing...happy..excited..tired...nervous...and everything in our heart. But,all of us still keep calm and think positive even many thing happen during our preparations.

Before, the day for the event we also have rehearsal which are on 19th May 2015 and 21th May 2015. On 19th May 2015,our rehearsal starting from 5 pm and end on 7 pm and this is the first rehearsal. So,there many thing that we need to be done and our Pengarah have give briefing to all of us how the event going to happen and what all of us need to do at the day of event later. Other than that, all the committee members of activities had try out their own activities that they prepared for student that come to join our event. This is to make sure that all activities going well in this event. MC and technical had been practices for them to remember the flow of the event. On 20th May 2015, also we do the same thing but we have a lot of improvement and fix all the thing that we need to fits. This before we end this rehearsal our Pengarah and Dr have give some spirit word and final warning to all of us.

That day is cominggggggggg...... all microbes students feel nervous than other day........but the day is today.....Alhamdullillah everything is going well even at first there is a problem where we still not hang our posterrrrrrrrr....wuhuuuuuuuuuu oyeahhhhhhhhhh....but Alhamdulillah I have such good classmate..they still keep calm and settle this problem efficiently and quickly. It just settle all the things for a few minutes and after that we ready for exhibition openningggggggg...Welcome students from SMK WARISAN PUTERI...

REFLECTIVE FOR THIS EVENT........

I think this event is really good and give many benefits for both side either for us and high school students. For example, this event give us opportunity to share our knowledge about microbes and for student that come can gain many information about  microbes and they will know how important all microbes and what is going on if there is no microbes in our life. So, from this all of us will be more appreciate to this small creatures. I think all student from SMK warisan puteri is really supporting because they support all the activities that we have prepared for them. They seem really enjoy with all activities that hag given to them and they seem kind of interested in this field of study. Other than that,this event also build up all microbes student confidence and also give a lot of new experience for us. Thank to all my classmate because of their good cooperative and their spirit to make this event successful. Without any one of us, this event will never be as successful and awesome.Thank to Dr wan cause give such great opportunity for us . Dr wan always support us and believe in us that responsible on this event  even there are a lot of thing happen. This event is really DEABAk (awersome in Korean languages) . I think this event event could be legacy for other ecology class.

So..........this event was successfullyyyyyy and allllll of us enjoyyyyy it ...............and lets partyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy ...............

Assalamualaikum and salam sejahtera everyone....

This week we have ecology class as usual....this week also though for us... we have test and also need to prepare our POBL and also other assignment from other course...Alhamdulillah.. at the end we finally made it....thank a lot too dr wan because dr wan really understand us...and I feel really sorry to dr wan because last week I late to update my reflective journal.

Alhamdullillah our POBL finally my group finish our video and newspaper..even we have a lot thing happen and have to through hard day..but my group still keep calm, think positive and support each other...thank very much to all my group member and people that involve on this project..hopefully this POBL will successfully like flying colour....

This week ,we have cover on topic food spoilage and water waste management.Thank a lot for these two because they did a very good jobs. For water waste management group, I want to give big applause to this group because even they do not know that they have to present in front of us but they still bravely come in front and present for us.Other than that we also did a few exercise that dr wan have prepare for us like crossword and quizzes. We have a lot of fun when doing this activity.

This week also important to us because this week is happy teacher's day where the day that remind us that teacher have sacrifice a lot to make sure their students success. Happy teacher's day dr.wan.

assalamualaikum and hello everyone..

wow...this is already week 10...we have a few weeks more to the final...huhu...time passed quickly...and the day become though to us but we have to go through with our courageous and strength.....

For this week, we do some revision on test 2 with Dr.wan and we having our test on friday. I think that this test make my heart feel like going to explode...hihihihihi....this is because I am thinking that
whether I can perform or not on this test 2. Hopefully,this test will be going okay for everyone..Amin..

Other than that, I feel like I want to cry because this week we have a lot of work to submit and we have a lot of test to handle. I hope we all not give up to anything that we have to going trough..keep looking forward..Fighthing!!!!!!!...

This week also there is mother day...For my mom I just want to say that I love so much...Happy mother day to my mom , Dr.wan and all mom in this world...

Assalamulaikum and hello everyone.......

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...........This week there is nothing much  I can share and tell to all of you. For this week, it just 1 hour lectures with  Dr .Wan .The topic that we learned for this week is human microbiome. I think this is interesting topic and have many thing to remember. I really enjoy learned this topic because this some in this topic also related to bacteriology .There is no activity for this week but Dr have prepared crossword as a holiday exercise for us to complete it. After this short holiday, we will to face for our upcoming test that will be held on next thursday. Hopefully this test will going okay. Amin.

assalamualaikum and hello everyone,

We meet again after 1 week holidays....yuhuuuuuuuuu.....oyeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh......this holiday such great holiday for me...the best moment when we at home...I do not feeling like going back to upm....huhu....just kidding....at upm also I can create best moment ever with my friends and lectures.

For this week ,there are two groups that have presented their work on flipped classroom .The first group have done on atmospheric topic habitata and other group on human microbiome.I think this two group have give a lot of good effort on their flipped classroom .I think that they deserve to get big applause from us.

For group 7,they do really nice video,popplet and quiz.I really like their video because it simple but easy for me to understand the topic.....Durra voice is super awersome ...I really attract me to hear the video and video is also cute because the video have animation

Not only that ,mokry and rahimi also did a great presentation on Pseudomonas syringae. I had gained some new knowlegde of this bacteria. They show to us such a great video and It really interesting. 

Other than that ,this week we also have submit our thinglink. Regarding to this tool ,I this tool is really good for us to used for share our knowledge about microbes in one pictures. First time I do this thinglink I feel excited but It hard for me to decide which pictures that I want to share.So ,when I think deeply I feel like want to share picture that I and my classmate go to Sungai Chilling. It such a great memory that we spend together in short time.From this pictures , I not just share our trip but i also want to share microbes on us.

For this week, we learn to topic which are lithosphere and hydrosphere. Lithosphere topic we continued from previous topic .We finished this topic on Monday and we continued with hydrosphere.  Assalamualaikum and hello everyone,

For this week, in ECOLOGY class we have learn and finish on MICROBIAL INTERACTION topic. Other than that ,we also learn about MICROBIAL HABITAT IN SOIL. For this topic ,our group have to do in our flipped classroom . So, we use popplet and voicethread as medium to explain to all of my friends in class. This flipped classroom is activity that my classmate have to do before they enter the class which is they have to do all activity that we have prepare for them .For example, they have to listen the voicethread that we have prepare for them and can give their comment. On the voicethread, we have given a lectures about MICROBIAL HABITAT IN SOIL based on our popplet.

All of my friends love this game because this game give an excited feel when we have to answering the question with shorter time. This is good for us for develop quick-thinking and sharpening our thought. We did not conduct the game because of rushing time. But then, it is okay because I and my group learned how to create questions in Kahoot.

Assalamualaikum and hello everyone,

Fuhh this week is quite exhausted …this week have test and have a lot project and assignment to be done and submit this week…next week also the tough to me and my friends….

......................I hope all of always keep strong ,be patience and always positive .The most important thing is always keep pray and “doa” to ALLAH S.W.T for muslim friends and non-muslim also to you god ,hope that they always give us strength to through all of this thing and hope that all thing can be done easily.

we also done with flipped classroom.we have to do flipped classroom on soil topic and we use voicethread and popplet . We use this tool to explain to all my microbes friends.

For this week ,in ECOLOGY  class we have learn about MICROBIAL INTERACTION. Before we start this lecture ,Dr wan have given a task to all of us which is we have to share anything related to MICROBIAL INTERACTION .For example, some of us share journal or article ,some of us share a video and any other sources related to that topic. I and my friend cheo ,stef and ijah have share a article that related to topic which is Microbial interactions in the mycorrhizosphere and their significance for sustainable agriculture.

Other than that, we also have discuss about poBL (life without microbes ). We all have discuss on who in charge in this project like who is the president and other than that.All of us have to involve on this project. This is the biggest project that my class have to make and this is under Faculty. So, many people will come to this even. We have to make sure that people that come can get what we want to share and tell to them that MICROBES is important to us.

In MICROBIAL INTERACTION, we have learn that there are organism located on surface of another organism (ectosymbiont) ,organism located within another organism (endosymbiont).There are Types of interactions include mutualism, cooperation, predation, commensalism, parasitism, amensalism and competition.

 ASSALAMUALAIKUM AND HELLO EVERYONE

This is week fourth for this semester....hurmmmmm...What we have done this week?...tic toc tic toc....when I think back basically this week ,we have lecture on topic 4 which is DISTRIBUTION OF MICROORGANISM .In this topic ,there is two law that are related this topic which is Liebig's Law of the Minimum and Shelford's Law of Tolerance. These both laws determine the presence and success of organisms in an ecosystem. There also have two factor that affecting distribution of microorganisms which are physical and chemical factor. For physical, the factors that affect the distribution of microorganism are temperature, pH, water activity and radiation.For chemical,  the factors that affecting distribution of microorganisms are pH ,oxygen concentration ,water ,carbon ,special growth factor ,trace elements and nitrogen,phosphorus and sulfur. In this topic we have quickly to finish this topic because this topic is going to use on our first test this week Thursday. Other than that,we also do some crossword activity for nutrition topic as assignment and we submit the picture to edmodo.

The topic in this test 1 included PRINCIPLE OF ECOLOGY, MICROBIAL GROUP ,MICROBIAL NUTRITION AND DISTRIBUTION OF MICROORGANISMS. I felt a little bit nervous because this is the first test for this semester and I think all my friends felt that way too.

emmm...what thing that I can share today....emm ...when I remind back this week ............................

In Microbial ECOLOGY class we have learn two topic which is MICROBIAL GROUP and METABOLISM AND NUTRITION. We have do new activity too like we use Popplet. This activity we do in group. All member in each group have to participate in this activity. One from the group have to log in first and then have to invite all member from their group to join this activity. Popplet is application that we can use to make mind map together even all member from different place. So, after all member log in ,they can make their group mind map together. This application make student work become easy because if they want to discuss topic that they learn ,they can discuss and share by doing mind map together.

Other than that ,we also use Quizlet in this ECOLOGY class. Quizlet is a tool that have application for use to make a note form term with meaning,Flashcard and quiz.We use this tool to list down 50 term that related to this week topic which is METABOLISM AND NUTRITION.After we finish to list down 50 term we have to take quiz in quizlet and we have to upload in LMS in form of pdf.
